Profiling the peptidome of the venom from the social wasp Agelaia pallipes pallipes

► Eight novel peptides were identified by ESI-IT-TOF/MS and MSn analysis. ► Ions type-d and -w were used to resolve I/L isobaric ambiguity. ► Isobaric ambiguity K/Q was resolved by MSn analysis of esterified peptides. ► Peptides presented mast cell degranulation, hemolysis, and chemotaxis of PMNLs.
