► Desalting of proteins before MALDI analysis is prerequisite (limited salt tolerance). ► We present salt-free protein purification technique for affinity beads. ► Technique is useful for various affinity chromatographies (IMAC, Flag, Myc, etc.). ► It is useful for large molecular weight proteins and co-precipitation assays.
