Super-resolution segmentation of imaging mass spectrometry data: Solving the issue of low lateral resolution

► Spatial resolution of imaging mass spectrometry is relatively low. ► We consider spatial segmentation maps of MALDI-imaging mass spectrometry data. ► Computational super-resolution method is applied to segmentation maps. ► Resulting super-resolution segmentation maps have high spatial resolution. ► Super-resolution maps can be overlaid and compared with a high-res microscopy image.
