Proteomic-based identification of the APC-binding protein EB1 as a candidate of novel tissue biomarker and therapeutic target for colorectal cancer

► 118 surgical specimens of colorectal cancer patients were examined by 2D-DIGE. ► EB1 was overexpressed in tumor cells compared with normal epithelial ones. ► EB1 was correlated with poor prognosis, and malignant potentials of tumor cells.
