Synthesis of multi-block poly(arylene ether sulfone) copolymer membrane with pendant quaternary ammonium groups for alkaline fuel cell

► Multi-block poly(arylene ether sulfone)s were synthesized. ► The block structure improved the performance of polymer electrolyte membrane. ► The membranes have high conductivities with low ion exchange capacity.
