From iodoindium(III) phthalocyanine to the π-radical indium(III) diphthalocyanine and magnetically frustrated indium diacetate hydroxide coordination polymer

► π-Radical sandwich indium diphthalocyanine and indium diacetate monohydroxide 1D-coordination polymer have been obtained. ► The structures of both complexes were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. ► The magnetic measurements of In(OH)(CH3COO)2 point to the orientational frustration. ► The results show high potential of InPcI as a chemical reactant.
