Cd(II) coordination polymers constructed from flexible disulfide ligand: Solvothermal syntheses, structures and luminescent properties

► Four Cd(II) coordination polymers were constructed with flexible disulfide ligand. ► The coordination modes and conformations of ligands lead to structural differences. ► The auxiliary N-donor ligands show great effect on structural diversification. ► All materials exhibit strong fluorescent behavior.
