New Zn complexes based on 1,2,4-triazoles: Synthesis, structure and luminescence

► Two novel zinc complexes on triazole basis have been synthesized. ► The X-ray analysis show that ligand can exist in two forms: azomethine and dihydrotriazaindolizine. ► Due to their strong luminescence of zinc complexes makes them advanced materials for electroluminescent devices.
