From U(IV) double-decker phthalocyanine with stacked UPc2 sandwiches to unstacked ones

► The [UPc2]·2DBU·(CH3)2CO crystals were obtained. ► The [UPc2]·2DBU·(CH3)2CO crystals exhibit unstacked structure. ► The stability of [UPc2]·2DBU·(CH3)2CO in benzene, 1-chloronaphthalene and DBU solutions was determined.
