Di- and tri-nuclear molybdenum-palladium complexes bearing strong π-acceptor “P-N-P” ligands, MeN{P(OR)2}2 (R = CH2CF3 or Ph)

The reactions of dipalladium(I) complexes of the type [Pd2Cl2(μ-L-L)2](L-L = MeN(PX2)2, X = OCH2CF3 or OPh) with [Mo2(η5-C5H5)2(CO)6] provide ready access to a series of Mo-Pd heterometallic complexes.
