Design, synthesis and pharmacological evaluation of (E)-3,4-dihydroxy styryl sulfonamides derivatives as multifunctional neuroprotective agents against oxidative and inflammatory injury

A novel class of neuroprotective agent, (E)-3,4-dihydroxy styryl sulfonamides derivatives, was synthesized and evaluated their pharmacological activities by several models in vitro. The results demonstrated that they possess multifunctional neuroprotection effects.
