Control of the intracellular levels of prostaglandin E2 through inhibition of the 15-hydroxyprostaglandin dehydrogenase for wound healing

It appears that two methylene groups between the phenyl ring and oxygen of 5-(3-chloro-4-benzyloxybenzylidene)thiazolidine-2,4-dione are optimal for inhibitory activity against 15-hydroxyprostaglandin dehydrogenase.
