Synthesis and biological evaluation of 1,2,4-trisubstituted imidazoles as inhibitors of transforming growth factor-β type I receptor (ALK5)

The synthesis of 1,2,4-trisubstituted imidazoles and evaluation for their ALK5 inhibitory activity is reported. A comparison of molecular docking between 27a and SB431542 is reported.
