The interaction of imidazole-, imidazolium-, and tetrazolium-containing compounds with DNA

Series of bivalent imidazole (A), imidazolium (B), and tetrazolium (C) compounds, as well as of monovalent imidazolium and tetrazolium compounds, were examined using the displacement of SYBR Green I as a measure of competitive binding to DNA.
