Syntheses of C18 dibenzocyclooctadiene lignan derivatives as anti-HBsAg and anti-HBeAg agents

Esterified derivatives of (+)-gomisin K3 (5-13) and kadsurarin (15-20) were synthesized and evaluated for anti-HBsAg anti-HBeAg. All (+)-gomisin K3 derivatives exhibited higher inhibitory activity and lower toxicity.
