Miscibility and thermal behavior of poly (ɛ-caprolactone)/long-chain ester of cellulose blends

► This blend of LCCE and PCL is of interest with promising biodegradability. ► The compatibility of the blend was mutually confirmed by FTIR, DMA, TGA, and X-ray. ► The LCCE/PCL blends studied were partially compatible with low loading of PCL.
