Multi-morphological self-assembled structures in water of a biodegradable β-cyclodextrin-based copolymer

► Biodegradable rigid-coil β-cyclodextrin-based copolymer was synthesized. ► Flexible PCL arms were controlled connected onto the wide side of the rigid β-CD. ► The copolymer with unique “jellyfish-like” structure could self-assemble into multi-morphological aggregates. ► A new route to form different nano-structures with biodegradable properties was developed.
