Effects of structural peculiarities of carrageenans on their immunomodulatory and anticoagulant activities

► We showed the influence of fine structure of carrageenans on their immunomodulatory activity. ► Carrageenan increases synthesis of pro-inflammatory cytokine. ► The amount of carrageenan sulphated groups influence on growth of ROS and anti-coagulant effect.
