Isolation and structural elucidation of novel homogenous polysaccharide from Mactra veneriformis

► We got three polysaccharides from Mactra veneriformis. ► The structure of a typical polysaccharide is examined for the first time. ► The average molecular weights (Mw) of the polysaccharide were about 400 kDa. ► The polysaccharide is a novel glucosan analogues.
