► Free radical scavenging activities of Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides were studied. ► Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides can eliminate the immune inhibition effect of 5-Fu. ► Polysaccharides derivatives can increase the mouse thymus and spleen index of mice. ► Polysaccharides derivatives increased the content of SOD and GSH content of mouse.
