Chemical structure of one low molecular weight and water-soluble polysaccharide (EFP-W1) from the roots of Euphorbia fischeriana

► The roots of Euphorbia fischeriana is a traditional Chinese medicine. ► A heteroglycan (EFP-W1) was isolated from the roots of E. fischeriana. ► The structural features of EFP-W1 were established by the combination of chemical and NMR analysis.
