Bismuth (III) PVC membrane ion selective electrodes based on two compounds: Acylhydrazone and thiosemicarbazone with 1,3,4-thiadiazole

► Construction and performance of Bi3 + ion-selective electrode are described. ► Acylhydrazone and thiosemicarbazone with 1,3,4-thiadiazole as ionophores. ► The sensors have good selectivity, wide working range, fast response time and reasonable lifetime. ► The electrode can be used in determining Bi3 + ion in bismuth aluminate tablets.
