Fabrication of high performance silicon oxynitride fibers reinforced boron nitride composites via borazine precursor infiltration and heating

► SiNO fibers are high strength fibers and can maintain stability at high temperatures. ► There is little other research related to SiNOf/BN composites. ► High flexural strength of 244.2 MPa of composites has been obtained. ► SiNOf/BN composites have desirable high temperature mechanical properties.
