Public bus transit travel-time variability in Ankara (Turkey)

► This study deals with the determinants of public bus transit travel-time variability. ► The data used in this study are collected in Ankara, Turkey. ► Three factors are identified as temporal, spatial, and service characteristics. ► Model results indicate that these factors affect travel-time variability to varying degrees. ► We conclude with a uniform reorganization of the system to control travel-time variability.
