Cross-linked graphene layer embedded carbon film prepared using electron irradiation in ECR plasma sputtering

► Electron irradiation was introduced in Electron Cyclotron Resonance plasma. ► TEM image found graphene sheet in carbon film prepared by electron irradiation. ► TEM images on wear track of carbon films with different structure were compared. ► Graphene sheet carbon film showed nanostructure with low friction coefficient.
