Effect of Ag nanoparticle size on the plasmonic photocatalytic properties of TiO2 thin films

► Fabrication of TiO2 films with Ag nanoparticles (NPs) embedded-SiO2 by sputtering. ► Effects of Ag NP size on the photocatalytic property of TiO2 films are investigated. ► All the TiO2 films with Ag NPs show higher decomposition rates than TiO2 only films.
