Corrosion and mechanical properties of epoxy-polyurethane/bronze composite coatings with low infrared emissivity

► Low infrared emissivity coatings were obtained by using epoxy-polyurethane (EPU) and bronze as adhesives and fillers, respectively. ► The effect of bronze content on the infrared emissivity, mechanical properties and corrosion resistance properties of EPU/bronze composite coatings was studied. ► The EPU/bronze composite coating was compared to PU/Cu, (ball-milled Ag-Cu)/PU and PU/Al coatings.
