Sustainability assessment of increasing renewable energy sources penetration - JP Elektroprivreda B&H case study

▸ Research of current and future emissions of JP EP B&H and relative damages has been conducted. ▸ Sustainability assessment is applied on an example of a power system for introducing different percentage share of RES. ▸ High scenario of introducing RES (20%) shows that there is no needed balance between environmental and economic indicators. ▸ For neutral case, High scenario is the best ranking option but for the B&H case Low scenario is the best one. ▸ Obtained results show that Medium scenario is the most acceptable as compromise between neutral and B&H case.
