Aerodynamic characteristics within a cold small-scale model for a down-fired 350Â MWe supercritical utility boiler at various primary air to vent air ratios

▸ A combustion system of a down-fired 350 MWe supercritical utility boiler was designed. ▸ Aerodynamic characteristics were obtained, and analyzed the velocity distribution within a cold 1:10 scaled model. ▸ Impart of various primary air to vent air ratios were investigated on aerodynamic field to find effect on downward flow.
