A self-organized bending-beam electrochemical actuator

Recent new technologies of electromechanical conversion devices have been reviewed. Especially, the electrochemical properties of anisotropic actuators using polypyrrole have been reported in detail and the realization of the bimorph (or bending-beam) structure without artificial adhesive agent is introduced.
