Comparative studies of polyethylene glycol-modified liposomes prepared using different PEG-modification methods

► To avoid PEG-lipid degradation, a novel PEG-modification method was proposed. ► PEG-lipid degradation could be markedly inhibited in the proposed method. ► The proposed method could have ease of manufacturing relative to conventional one. ► The higher blood circulation capability was observed in the proposed method. ► The proposed method would be a great advantage relative to conventional one.
