Characterization of the mechanisms of HIV-1 Vpr(52-96) internalization in cells

► Using biophysical studies we found that Vpr C-terminus destroys membrane bilayer. ► Vpr C-terminus strongly interacts with heparin. ► Vpr C-terminus forms oligomers stable more than 48 h in the cell.
