Effect of regular smoking on flicker induced retinal vasodilatation in healthy subjects

► In this study we test whether chronic smokers have changed vascular reactivity. ► Flicker induced vasodilatation was used to test vascular reactivity of retinal vessels. ► Our data indicate that the hemodynamic response of the retina is reduced in smokers.
