Hybrid PIV-PTV technique for measuring blood flow in rat mesenteric vessels

► A new hybrid PIV-PTV technique was established by combining PTV and PIV techniques. ► The present technique can obtain a better estimate of the velocity profile in vivo. ► This will be useful for measuring unsteady irregular blood flows more accurately.
