A microchip flow-chamber system for quantitative assessment of the platelet thrombus formation process

► We developed a platelet thrombus formation (PTF) assay under arterial flow conditions. ► Single/combined effects of antiplatelet agents could be quantitatively evaluated. ► The antiplatelet agents had unique effects on PTF at different shear conditions. ► Effects of antiplatelet agents on PTF could not be assessed by conventional assays.
