Dopamine and glutamate release in the dorsolateral caudate putamen following withdrawal from cocaine self-administration in rats

► Microdialysis in dorsal striatum after cocaine self-administration and withdrawal. ► Increased DA and GLU after 1 day and increased DA after 14 days of abstinence. ► Cocaine prime increased DA and GLU in cocaine experienced, as compared to naïve rats.
