Physiological and subjective effects of acute intranasal methamphetamine during atomoxetine maintenance

► This study determined the effects of methamphetamine during atomoxetine maintenance. ► Atomoxetine altered the heart rate and blood pressure effects of methamphetamine. ► Atomoxetine did not alter the subjective effects of methamphetamine. ► Methamphetamine can be safely administered to participants maintained on atomoxetine. ► More research is needed with atomoxetine for methamphetamine abuse.
