Resveratrol reduces vacuous chewing movements induced by acute treatment with fluphenazine

►Resveratrol decreases the intensity of VCMs in rats. ►Resveratrol reduces the prevalence of orofacial dyskinesia induced by fluphenazine. ►Resveratrol could not prevent the decrease in locomotor activity caused by fluphenazine.
