چکیده انگلیسی
► α7 nicotinic receptor agonism enhances the effect of antidepressant drugs in mice. ► Behavioural and biochemical effects of SSR180711 and PNU-282987 were compared. ► SSR180711, but not PNU-282907, induced antidepressant-like effects in mice. ► Behaviourally effective doses of SSR180711 partially inhibited serotonin reuptake. ► SSR180711 represents the synergy of α7 nAChRs agonism and serotonin uptake inhibition.
