Effects of anxiolytics in zebrafish: Similarities and differences between benzodiazepines, buspirone and ethanol

► The benzodiazepines and a moderate dose of ethanol reduced shoal cohesion. ► Buspirone increased zebrafish exploration of higher portions of the tank. ► Height in the tank and shoal cohesion are useful to discriminate anxiolytics.
