The safety of modafinil in combination with oral ∆9-tetrahydrocannabinol in humans

►Heart rate was greater for participants receiving active oral THC and modafinil. ►Systolic blood pressure was lower for participants receiving active THC. ►Diastolic blood pressure was greater for active modafinil conditions. ►Modafinil increased the Profiles of Mood States subscales of vigor and tension. ►These findings support the safety of modafinil in combination with THC.
