Production and purification of TAL6003: A novel version of the protease plasmin

► A scalable manufacturing process for a novel recombinant protease has been achieved. ► Oxidative refolding of the expressed zymogen was achieved at 48% yield. ► Activation of zymogen by streptokinase was achieved with 80% step yield. ► Product was highly pure by all relevant criteria. ► Formulated product was highly stable and had a specific activity close to unity.
