Purification and biochemical characterization of a novel protein-tongue cancer chemotherapy resistance-associated protein1 (TCRP1)

► We found a novel human gene named TCRP1. ► TCRP1 appears as a candidate related to the cisplatin resistance. ► IFA and IHC analysis showed TCRP1 is mainly localized in cytoplasm. ► TCRP1 can mediate cisplatin resistance against DNA damage. ► Expression of TCRP1 may be useful as an indicator of the sensitivity to cisplatin.
