Cytotoxic cardenolides from the root bark of Calotropis gigantea

- Six new cardenolides were isolated from the root bark of Calotropis gigantea.
- Cardenolides were evaluated for their cytotoxicity against A549 and Hela cell lines.
- Some cardenolides displayed potent cytotoxicity.
