Early detection of myocardial dysfunction in children with mitochondrial disease: An ultrasound and two-dimensional strain echocardiography study

2DSTE detects alterations in myocardial systolic function in children diagnosed with mitochondrial disease, whose conventional echocardiographic findings did not indicate ventricular systolic dysfunction.
