PEPP: Statt sektorübergreifender Versorgung ein insuffizientes Abrechnungssystem

The paper reflects the effects of the implementation of the new reimbursement system for the psychiatric/psychotherapeutic treatment in hospital, which is based on flat rates (=PEPP). The focus is laid on therapeutic processes and the expected increase of hospital beds. In contrast the challenges of a modern system of cross-sectoral integrated mental health care including Home Treatment in acute crises are outlined.
