Anwendung neuer Vergütungsformen im Rahmen niederländischer DMP: Auswirkungen auf Prozessqualität und Kosten

Since 2007 it is possible to purchase DMPs by bundled payments in the Netherlands. Bundled payment was hypothesised to improve the quality of care and encourage task delegation and reallocation. The National Institute of Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) investigated the effects of this payment reform on the quality of care and health care costs regarding diabetes care. The results of this study are summarized in this article.
