Evaluation of the quality of care in health centers more frequently revealed problems with the clinical history than with the medical care provided. This finding may be due to lack of awareness of the importance of the clinical history in monitoring the healthcare process, the absence of uniform criteria for managing acute diseases, and failure to comply with the standards of the nutrition program.
