CycleTrak: A novel system for the semi-automated analysis of cell cycle dynamics

► We have developed a novel fluorescent reporter for dynamic cell cycle analysis. ► CycleTrak consists of a single plasmid vector and semi-automated quantitative tools. ► CycleTrak provides a simultaneous readout of G1 and cell nucleus position. ► We validated CycleTrak in vitro and an in vivo chick embryo model of metastasis. ► Advances current methods by allowing dynamic cell cycle readout and tracking.
