Trouver, créer, transmettre la psychanalyse

Since its foundation, psychoanalysis has seen contradictory trends that have inevitably had an impact on invention in psychoanalysis and its passing on. This article sets out to describe some of these inevitable contradictions of the discipline hung between fiction and novel on the one hand and science on the other, between the free rein of the unconscious on the one hand and the fact that psychoanalysts are involved in the society and institutions on the other. The heterogeneity of psychoanalysis, and the fact that the clinical case presented to others is a mythical one, could be linked, among other things, to these contradictions. This raises the issue of the original epistemological status of psychoanalysis.
